Wells Fargo Cultural Excellence Grant Supports Programming at Title I Schools

Artivate is pleased to announce new funding available to Title I schools through a generous Cultural Excellence Grant from Wells Fargo. Qualifying schools in Washington, D.C. and select counties in Maryland (Montgomery County, Prince George’s) and Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax) will receive funding as a 50/50 match of program fees for a performance program taking place now through November 30, 2019 (travel fee additional; some restrictions apply). Wells Fargo Cultural Excellence Grants are awarded to art, culture, science, and history organizations that promote education through innovative school collaborations and non-traditional teaching.The grant funds awarded to Artivate will support live performances by professional teaching artists which educate, foster creativity, share cultural traditions, and connect communities throughout the greater Washington metropolitan region.
